The Business Challenge
The organization in question employs approximately 28,000 people in Israel and abroad and manages more than 100,000 devices and telephone lines, with annual telecommunications expenses exceeding $20 million. The client was looking for a company that could provide telecommunications expense monitoring services together with a software solution that would enable the management of its entire global telecommunications infrastructure, including the mapping and tracking of all communications assets and equipment. In addition, the client required a solution capable of importing all telecommunications invoices from every service provider it worked with (approximately 100 providers), with the requirement that all information be centralized in a single system.
The organization understood that in order to effectively review and monitor all areas of telecommunications expenditure, and to achieve optimal cost savings and operational efficiency, it would need the support of a team of telecommunications experts. Following a thorough evaluation of several global companies, it selected Tamar's services.
Our Solution
The first stage involved conducting a comprehensive audit of the organization's telephone lines. The audit included interviews with key personnel across the organization, including communications managers and communications personnel worldwide, as well as the collection of data from various sources, telephone numbers from provider invoices, and existing agreements. At the same time, all telephone invoices were collected and imported into the Miracle CRP system by a skilled and experienced team, enabling users to view all telephone invoices in various formats, analyze them, and generate reports based on different criteria.
Subsequently, comprehensive training was provided to all employees responsible for the ongoing operation of the system, enabling them to manage the communications inventory, generate reports, and independently use the system's additional modules.
The next stage involved reviewing the telecommunications invoices against the agreements previously signed with the service providers. All of these reviews were carried out by telecommunications finance specialists. At the conclusion of the process, reports were presented containing highly significant findings, including unnecessary services, inactive lines, and incorrect charges.
